Nowadays, as we all know human kind is trying to deal with Coronavirus pandemic. So, I will introduce my favorite, interesting and helpful websites to spend your spare time during these annoying days. You can click the titles to visit websites. Notice, I discovered them from different resources. You may have seen them before. Let’s begin!

Music-Map

  • I love researching new music bands. It helps me with chilling out in depressed moments. AI based suggestion algorithms (Yes, it’s everywhere) in music applications like Spotify or Apple Music is not enough sometimes. If you feel like I do, you can use Music-Map. It is not perfect but helps a lot.
  • Just type your favorite band and check the other bands which remain closer to your favorite one. As the band names gets closer, it means that the bands are more similar than the others.
  • Here is an example, I circled my favorites. I also realized that I should check some other groups in there.

Information is Beautiful

  • Next, we will look into some visualized information. In this website, you can find different enjoyable graphics about tech, health, society, economy and more.
  • For example, this a graphic that shows most used 500 passwords with their strength. If you find yours in here, you know what to do. (Image 1)
  • Another example is coming for fish lovers. You should check here before you eat something that comes from water. (Image 2)

SuperCook

  • Cooking is a valuable activity to do in your free time. Now, I want to show you an assistant. This one is a website (it also has a phone application with the same name) that shows you the dish recipes according to ingredients that you have.
  • Select your ingredients and it will show you recipes that compiled from most popular cooking websites.
  • As an example, here is the things that you can make with butter, parmesan, pasta, pepper jack, rice, soft cheese. It also asks you for extra ingredients to widen your options.
